On November 8th, Mia Farrow was the keynote speaker at Ve’ahavta’s Starry Night’s Gala. I had the opportunity to spend time with her and discovered she is the ‘real deal’. Mia has traveled to Darfur over a dozen times and adopted 10 children. She has held dying babies in her arms and faced down the enemy. This was/is all by choice. She is an activist and one of the only people on planet earth who has put her life on the line for Darfur and its people. I was deeply inspired by her message, soul and courage.
