Question: This is the buzz on the net, that Ajmal, the terrorist who was part of killing 101 people in Mumbai, India is now reading Gandhi’s autobiography (see link below for source of information). If he is reading it now, he might have been open to reading it before he was responsible for so much killing and suffering. Mohammad Ajmal Amir, aka, Kasab, is the lone terrorist to be captured alive during the Mumbai terror attack.

For the last one week he is reading Mahatma Gandhi’s autobiography, “My Experiments with Truth”. This is the Urdu translation of the autobiography.

The book was given by the jail staff. Initially he refused to read the book. However, he has been reading the book for a week now.

The book is available in the jail library in several languages like Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, English, Kannada, and Urdu.
